Here’s a simple and yummy dinner recipe you can pair with any veggie or side dish.
4 servings
25 min cook time
Ingredients:
4 pork chops
Olive oil
2 tbsp butter
4 tsp minced garlic or 3 garlic cloves
1 tbsp flour
1/2 cup chicken broth
1/2 tsp lemon juice
1/4 tsp garlic powder
3/4 cup heavy cream
Fresh parsley (optional)
Start by heating 1 tbsp butter and some olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat.
Season pork chops with salt and pepper and cook in pan with melted butter for 3-5 minutes per side. Transfer pork chops to a plate.
Turn heat down to medium. In same pan, melt remaining butter and then add flour and whisk to make a roux.
Add chicken broth, lemon juice, and minced garlic. Whisk together and cook for about a minute until mixture is thickened.
Add heavy cream and garlic powder. Whisk mixture again. Add pork chops back into pan and cook for another 5 minutes. The mixture can simmer but don’t let it boil too much.
Once they are done cooking, sprinkle with parsley.
Enjoy!
