Ingredients:
1 Pack of Chicken Breasts - 1.75/3.0lb (Usually 3 Chicken Breasts)
3 Tsp of Olive Oil
1 1/2 Tbsp Brown Sugar
1 Tsp Paprika
1 Tsp Dried Oregano
1/4 Tsp Garlic Powder
1/2 Tsp Salt
1/2 Tsp Pepper
** Optional for some heat 1 Tsp of Cayenne Pepper.
Preheat your oven to 425 Degrees.
Pound the thickest part of your chicken breasts with a mallet or a rolling pin. You are trying to get the chicken all the same thickness so it cooks more evenly.
In a bowl, combine your brown sugar, paprika, dried oregano, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and optional cayenne pepper.
Line an edged baking sheet with parchment paper.
Use about 1 tsp of olive oil on each chicken breast and coat both sides.
Sprinkle the seasoning mix on both sides of the chicken breasts. Once seasoned I pat the seasoning onto the chicken breasts to help the seasoning stick. (You will use all of the seasoning mixture, so the chicken breasts should be completely covered.)
Bake for 18 minutes or until the internal temperature of the chicken has reached 165 degrees.
Once baked, remove from the baking sheet. There will be a lot of remaining liquid on the baking sheet, you can use that to drizzle on top of your chicken breast.
Enjoy :)
