Mexican Street Tacos

4-6 servings


Ingredients: 

1.5 lbs skirt steak 

3 cloves garlic (minced) 

2 tbsp soy sauce 

2 tbsp lime juice 

1 tbsp canola oil

1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce 

1 tsp cumin

1 tsp oregano 

2 tsp chili powder 

1/2 cup diced red onion

1/4 cup cilantro 

Mini flour or corn tortillas 

 
  1. Cut up steak into half inch pieces and dice onion. 

  2. I’m a small bowl, mix soy sauce, lime juice, canola oil, Worcestershire sauce, minced garlic and other seasonings. 

  3. Put steak and sauce mixture in a gallon ziplock bag and let marinade for 3-4 hours. 

  4. Cook steak in a pan over medium heat for 5-6 minutes or until desired doneness. 

  5. Add steak to tortillas and top with onions, cilantro, and other preferred toppings. *extra lime juice and cojita cheese are great on street tacos*
