Air Fryer Chicken Parmesan

Crispy, cheesy, and perfectly saucy. This air fryer chicken Parmesan is quick to make and perfect for a weeknight dinner. Serve it on its own or over spaghetti for a classic Italian favorite.


Servings: 2–4

Prep Time: 10 minutes

Cook Time: 15 minutes


Ingredients:

  • 2–4 chicken breasts

  • 2 eggs

  • 1 cup Italian bread crumbs

  • 1/4 cup shredded Parmesan cheese

  • 1/2 cup marinara sauce

  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

  • Optional: fresh basil or parsley for garnish


Instructions:

  1. Prep the Chicken: Slice each chicken breast in half lengthwise, then pound or roll them to an even, thinner thickness.

  2. Prepare Coatings:

    • In one bowl, combine bread crumbs and Parmesan cheese.

    • In a separate bowl, whisk the eggs until smooth.

  3. Coat the Chicken: Dip each chicken piece into the eggs, then press into the bread crumb mixture until fully coated.

  4. Air Fry: Place chicken in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook at 360°F for 6 minutes.

  5. Add Sauce & Cheese: Flip chicken over, spoon marinara sauce on top, and sprinkle with mozzarella cheese. Cook at 360°F for another 4–5 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the cheese is melted.

  6. Serve: Enjoy as is or serve over cooked spaghetti noodles with extra marinara sauce. Garnish with fresh basil or parsley if desired.
