Audrey's Homemade Brownies

These brownies are so ridiculously good you won't be able to stop eating them.

Ingredients:

1 Stick of Butter

1/4 Heaping Cup of Cocoa Powder

1/2 Cup of Buttermilk

2 Cups of Flour

1/2 Tsp Salt

1 Cup of Water

1/2 Cup of Oil

2 Eggs (Slightly Beaten)

2 Cups of White Sugar

1 Tsp Baking Soda


Frosting:

3/4 Cup of Sugar

1/2 Cup of Butter

1/4 Cup of Milk

1/2 Cup of Milk Chocolate Chips

1/2 Cup of Marshmallows

Instructions:

Brownies:

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.


In a saucepan heat butter, water, cocoa powder, and oil. Bring to a simmer and then take off the burner immediately.


Add the buttermilk and the slightly beaten eggs to the mixture. Stir well and then set aside.


In a large mixing bowl, add flour, sugar, salt, and baking soda. Stir the dry ingredients with a spoon.


Next, use a mixer and slowly add the wet mixture to the dry mixture. Mix well.


Pour the brownie mixture into a jelly roll pan and bake for 20-25 minutes.


When brownies are done baking, let them cool just a little bit before you frost!


Frosting:

In a saucepan add sugar, butter, and milk. Bring it to a simmer.


Once the sauce is at a simmer add chocolate chips and marshmallows. Continue to simmer until the marshmallows and chocolate chips have melted.


When everything is melted you can frost the brownies!
