Just a little spin off of your average banana bread and honestly I like these better!
24 servings
35 min cook time
Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
1 cup plain Greek yogurt
1/2 cup butter
2 eggs
3-4 ripe bananas
2 tsp vanilla
2 cups flour
1 tsp baking soda
3/4 tsp salt
For the Glaze:
6 tbsp butter
3 cups powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla
2 tbsp milk
Preheat oven to 375 degrees and grease a 9x13 pan.
In a large bowl, cream together butter and sugar, then add sour cream, eggs, bananas, and vanilla.
Add flour, baking soda, salt and mix until moist.
Pour mixture into pan and spread evenly. Bake at 375 degrees for 23-28 minutes.
For the glaze, melt butter over medium heat.
Allow it to come to a simmer and then remove from heat.
Whisk in powdered sugar, vanilla, and milk until smooth.
Pour glaze over warm bars and spread evenly (it’s a lot easier if you pour it on the bars when they are still warm).
Enjoy! - Jess
