Cajun Chicken Pasta

This Cajun Chicken Pasta is a quick, creamy dinner packed with bold flavor. Tender seasoned chicken, colorful peppers, and mushrooms are tossed in a rich Parmesan cream sauce and mixed with penne for the perfect comforting meal. Ready in just 25 minutes, it’s an easy weeknight favorite with just the right amount of kick.

Ingredients:
1–2 lbs chicken breast
8 oz penne pasta
1 cup diced mushrooms
½ cup diced yellow or orange bell pepper
½ cup diced red bell pepper
3 tbsp butter
1 cup chicken broth
1 cup heavy cream
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp Cajun seasoning
1 tsp paprika
½ tsp garlic powder
1 tsp minced garlic
¾ cup grated Parmesan cheese
Salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning to taste
Instructions:
Boil pasta according to box instructions.
While pasta is cooking, heat 2 tbsp butter in a pan over medium heat.
Season chicken breast with salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, and Cajun seasoning.
Cut up chicken breast and add to the pan. Cook for 3–5 minutes, until fully cooked through.
Remove chicken from the pan. Add remaining butter to the pan, then add mushrooms, peppers, and minced garlic.
Sauté for 2–3 minutes.
Add chicken broth, Worcestershire sauce, heavy cream, and seasonings. Bring to a light simmer.
Add Parmesan cheese and whisk to combine. Let simmer another 2–3 minutes until sauce thickens.
Turn off heat. Add the chicken and cooked pasta and stir to combine everything.
