Creamy Lemon Pepper Chicken

This is a super easy chicken recipe that will have people thinking you are a master chef.

Ingredients:

2-4 Thawed Chicken Breasts (depending on how many people you are serving)

1-2 Tsp of lemon pepper seasoning

1 Tsp of paprika

1 Tbsp of butter

Sauce Ingredients:

2 Tbsp of butter

2 Tbsp of minced garlic

3/4 Cup of heavy whipping cream

1/2 Cup of chicken broth

1 Tsp of yellow mustard

2 Tsp of Worcestershire sauce

3 Tbsp of freshly squeezed lemon juice

Salt & Pepper to taste

Parsley to Garnish

Instructions:

Preheat your oven to 400 degrees.

Pat dry your chicken breasts and then season both sides with the lemon pepper seasoning and paprika.

Heat a skillet or an oven-safe pan over medium-high heat. Melt one tablespoon of butter in the pan. Once the butter is melted add your chicken breasts to the pan, searing both sides for 2-3 minutes.

While the chicken is searing, in a small bowl whisk together the heavy whipping cream, chicken broth, Worcestershire, lemon juice, and mustard. Salt & pepper to taste.

Once you have seared both sides of the chicken remove them from the pan.

Turn the stove down to medium heat and add your 2 tablespoons of butter and garlic. Cook the garlic until it is fragrant.

Next, pour in your bowl of wet ingredients and whisk until it comes to a simmer.

After the sauce has come to a simmer add your chicken breasts back into the pan and then place in the oven for 20-25 minutes or until the chicken has reached an internal temperature of 165 degrees.

When the chicken is cooked through, plate the chicken and top with extra lemon pepper sauce from the pan and parsley.

Enjoy :)
