Easy Crockpot Pot Roast

To me, nothing beats an easy pot roast recipe. You can sear the meat for 4-5 minutes on both sides before you put it in the crockpot. I usually just throw everything in the crockpot and let it cook.


Ingredients:

4lbs Beef Round Top Roast / Bread and Butter Roast / Chuck Roast

1 Bag of Carrots

1 Large Onion

6 Peeled and Quartered Potatoes (You can leave the skin on if preferred)

1 Tablespoon Worchester

1 Teaspoon Salt

1 Teaspoon Pepper

1Teaspoon Onion Powder

1 Teaspoon Garlic Powder

1 Beef Gravy Packet

4 Cups of Beef Broth


Instructions:

Throw all your ingredients into the crockpot. Cook on low for 8 hours or until the meat is cooked all the way through.


Optional: In the last hour mix your cornstarch and water and add it to the slow cooker to thicken the sauce. (2 Tablespoons of Cornstarch/ Two Tablespoons of cold water)
