Fluffy, golden, and full of cinnamon and vanilla, this French toast turns ordinary bread into a breakfast treat. Quick to make and impossible to resist, it’s perfect with your favorite toppings.
Servings: 4
Prep time: 5 minutes
Cook time: 12–15 minutes
Total time: 17–20 minutes
Ingredients:
4 Eggs
8 Slices of Texas Toast
2/3 Cup of Whole Milk/Half & Half/Heavy Whipping Cream (Your Choice)
1/4 Cup of Flour
1/4 Cup of Sugar
1/4 Tsp of Salt
1 Tsp Cinnamon
1 Tsp Vanilla Extract
Instructions:
Add the eggs, milk, flour, sugar, cinnamon, salt, and vanilla to a blender and blend until smooth and creamy, making sure no lumps remain.
Heat a large pan or skillet over medium heat and lightly grease it if needed. Pour the batter into a shallow bowl. Dip one or two slices of bread into the mixture, allowing them to soak briefly, and gently turn to coat both sides.
Place the bread onto the hot pan. Cook for 2–3 minutes, or until the underside is golden brown and slightly crisp, then flip and cook the other side until golden and cooked through.
Transfer the French toast to a plate and repeat with the remaining bread until all 8 slices are cooked. Serve warm with your favorite toppings.
Enjoy :)

Make it ahead: You can prepare the batter the night before and store it in the fridge.
Freezing Instructions:
Let the cooked French toast cool completely.
Place slices in a single layer on a baking sheet and freeze for 1–2 hours (this prevents them from sticking together).
Transfer the slices to a freezer-safe bag or container. Separate layers with parchment paper if needed.
Label with the date. These will keep well for up to 2 months.
Reheating:
Toaster: Pop frozen slices directly into the toaster or toaster oven until heated through.
Oven: Bake at 350°F for 10–15 minutes until warmed.
Microwave: This is the quickest option, although the texture may be slightly softer. 30–60 seconds per slice.
