Sticky Chicken

Serve this over fried rice or white rice and top with yum-yum sauce :)

Serves: 4


Ingredients for Chicken:

3 1/2 lb Chicken Thighs

Onion Powder

Garlic Powder

Salt & Pepper


Ingredients for Sauce:

1 Tbsp Sesame Oil

1 Tbsp Minced Garlic

6 Tbsp Low Sodium Soy Sauce

1 Tbsp Rice Vinegar

1/2 Tbsp Chili Paste

1/4 Tsp Red Pepper Flakes(Optional for more spice)

1/2 Cup of Brown Sugar


Instructions for Chicken:

Preheat your oven to 375 degrees

Trim your chicken thighs of excess fat. Add the chicken thighs to a greased baking dish. Add some olive oil to your chicken thighs and then season with onion powder, garlic powder, salt & pepper.

Bake for 35-40 minutes or until your chicken is fully cooked Once the chicken is fully cooked chop it up.


Sauce Instructions:

In a saucepan add your sesame oil, minced garlic, low-sodium soy sauce, rice vinegar, chili paste, optional red pepper flakes, and brown sugar. Whisk on the stove for about five minutes on medium heat.


Once all of the sugar is dissolved take the saucepan off of the stove and add your chopped chicken to the pan. Mix together until your sauce evenly coats the chicken.


Add your chicken on top of your fried rice or white rice


Top with Yum-Yum Sauce for extra flavor.
