This is basically a spin off of spaghetti, with different pasta. The Italian sausage really adds more flavor and it’s so fast & easy to make!

Ingredients:
1 lb Italian sausage (you can use regular or the hot kind - or even ground beef if you prefer)
1/2 a yellow onion
1 tsp minced garlic
1 24-oz can of your favorite spaghetti sauce
1 package of fresh or frozen tortellini (I recommend the cheese tortellini)
1 tsp Italian seasoning
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
Parsley for topping
1. Drizzle some olive oil in a pan over medium heat. 2. Sauté onions for a minute, then add minced garlic and Italian sausage and cook until no longer pink. 3. Drain grease. Then add pasta sauce, water, Italian seasoning, and tortellini (No need to boil tortellini ahead of time). 4. Bring mixture to a boil.
5. Reduce heat to low, cover, and let simmer for 8 minutes. 6. Add cheeses and recover for 5 more minutes until cheese is melted.
7. Sprinkle parsley on top (optional) and serve.
